New Word #3

Kayden mimicked "hi" at about one to two months old. He learned that along with sticking his tongue out. But I've been trying to get him to say the milestone words, "mama" and "dada." Kaycee and I have joked with him for a long time. I would say, "say mama" and then Kaycee would laughed and say, "no, say Kaycee." We would laugh back and forth and tease and I would always wonder, "how long does it take for them to hit this milestone?" WELL, he said.....no, not "dada" like I thought for sure he would. It was "mama!" Along with "buba" which he has been saying for weeks. I don't know where that came from. We've said everything from mama, and dada, to sis sis, and Kaycee. He kept saying "buba" while I was taking pictures of him in his cute little church outfit and then he clenched his fists together, brought them to his mouth and growled, "ba ba ba, MAMA" Then he laughed because Kaycee and I did. Of course it wasn't because he was just wanting to say it. He was hungry and wanted to be fed. He figured that I would stop taking pictures of him and feed him. Duh, buba is bottle!!!! I call his bottle a boba sometimes. Well, there we have it. He was demanding food, now vocally. Well, at least he said "mama" first.
