Happy Mother's Day!
They tested Kayd's blood around 6AM and his levels dropped to 13 so we were able to take him out of the light bed. Now we are just waiting to see if his levels will stay normal. They will check his blood at noon and see if we can go home. It has been a different Mother's Day but it was nice because my mom stayed at the hospital with me and we were able to spend mother-daughter time together taking care of Kayden.
After playing Pretty Ponies with Kaycee and watching Scooby Doo with Grandma she was able to sneak away when Kayc decided she wanted her dad around 10PM. This morning Kaycee is hanging out with daddy and Uncle Nick.
I thought that I would get some rest while in the hospital; didn't work quite that way. I slept less. Because he was feeling better and dehydrated from the lights he ate almost every hour. It was worth it because he is doing much better. He is a cutie!
