34 Weeks and Counting

Wow, we are at 34 weeks already. I am pretty anxious but then when I start feeling like I'm in labor I get really worried. Mostly because he would be way too early, but also because there will be a newborn and an almost 3 year old to take care of.

The weekly online updates say that he should be about 4 3/4 pounds, about the size of a cantaloupe, and almost 18 inches long. He feels pretty long and strong. I am reminded with this every time I move, bend over, or he kicks. Bending over is a joke. I remember it was hard with Kaycee full term, but this is difficult already. Kaycee laid farther back then Kayden is. He is way out there making it very hard to do anything. I didn't notice a difference in how I carried them until I tried to pick things up and tie my shoes. Kaycee has been a big help. She is so cute when she tries to help me put my shoes on.

I have been trying to get all of my school work finished before the end of the month. I am pretty much there, I just have to read and study for a quiz and final exam in one class and I am all done. I just finished my last three weekly assignments in my Crop Science class, that is a relief, and have one final unit assignment and I am done!!!

I was excited to have the summer off but when I spoke with my advisor about my final year I found out that the intern preparation course, which is required, is not available next spring so I have to take it in the fall anyway. Well, I chose to, and then I am going to take one class this summer after all just to get it all done by next spring. I don't know where we will end up or what we will be doing. I do however know that I am having a baby so with that in mind I can work around it. The unknown is a little harder to plan around. I think that if I can get a big head start when the class starts in the beginning of May I can relax when Kayden comes and take it slow. After all, I think it would be easier to take it now rather than wait until he is a little older. I did that with Kaycee. I didn't start school until she was a year and that was difficult. I think it will be easier with a 3 year old and an infant. I guess we'll see.
