I'm a Reindeer mom
Again with the Reindeer. Kaycee painted his face like a reindeer one day when they were painting pictures back around Christmas. Now every chance he gets he finds something to draw on his face with to be a reindeer.

Don't drink it
I had to go do the glucose testing and Kayden came with me. He watched carefully as she poked my finger. Then as Pearl, the nurse, handed me the orange goop to drink he jumped up, put his hand out and said, "ewe, no mommy, yucky, don't drink it. Yucky!" I was trying to chug it and had to stop because I was laughing so hard.

Look Mom!
Nursery Anyone?
Kayden LOVES nursery. He will sit patiently in Sacrament for half of the meeting but then he is ready to go to class. So we sneak out and wait in his classroom for his teacher. It is cute how much he loves to go to Primary. Even visiting grandparents he will go to class on his own. Very independent, love it! He also LOVES Jesus and the temples and enjoys hearing the lessons and singing time. Of course he loves to play too!

My Little Man
I can't keep Kayden in anything for very long. It seems like I just bought him his favorite Lightening McQueen light up shoes. Lately every time I put them on he would complain. The other day I was going through all of his small clothes and shoes and noticed that they were a size 9 1/2. Ya, he is in an 11 1/2. Poor little guy. If he would just stop growing so darn fast. I just bought those shoes while I got Kaycee's school shoes at the end of August. So on Wednesday after picking Kaycee up from school I couldn't find his shoes so we went shoe shopping.
I took him shoeless to Payless Shoes and went on a fun search for shoes. They never seem to have any in his size or Kaycee's. They have all of the girl shoes in size 11.5 and all of the boy shoes in size 1. Finally, while looking in the size 11 and the size 12 I found his favorite shoes on sale for $10 (Lightening McQueen, light ups. The exact same as the ones he outgrew). It was also BOGO, so I bought both pair for $15. The twelves are a little big, but he will be in them before we know it. They will be his birthday present. Lol! The eleven's work for now. They won't fit for very long but long enough and they were only $5. Can't complain!
