First Haircut

This is his hair when he wakes up big and fuzzy!

When it is fixed. It was over his ears and in the back his hair was to his shoulders.

Kayden's hair is getting so long. I didn't want to cut it because his little curls are so adorable but he needed one bad. It got so long I could pull it up in pony tails. So, today I did it. It was hard because he wouldn't sit still but we did it. He looks so cute. I didn't cut it too short because he is still a baby and baby's need baby haircuts so no buzzing it or big boy haircuts but it is adorable if I do say so myself and he still looks his age.

Big Helper

Kayden is such a sweetheart. Today I was washing dishes and he brought me dirty cups from the table. What a big helper. He likes to follow me around helping me clean. The only bad part is that he sees me plug in the vacuum and tries to plug it in. He is growing up so fast and is such a loving little guy.

Say what, say what?

I worry about Kayden because I don't know if he can't hear me or he chooses not to listen. I can talk and talk to him and he ignores me. Do I get his ears checked? Does he have a hearing problem? So, I try little things to see if I do need to take him in. Can he hear? Yes! Does he tune me out? Yes! What a little stinker. I was talking to Sara and Kayden kept staring at her. We kept trying to talk to him but he just stared at Sara. Right next to his ear I said, "Kayden" and he just stared at Sara. I said "Kayden" a little louder and he just kept staring at Sara. Finally I said, "Kayden look at mommy" kind of loud and rough and he looked at me and smiled like, "I heard you, I chose to ignore you." What a stinker. So the end results, he is a typical male who chooses to respond when he is good and ready. My goal is to nip this in the bud now because he will not be a typical guy. He WILL learn to listen to others especially his wife in the future!

Teeth, teeth and more teeth

Kayden can't just get one tooth at a time, two even but four. The first top teeth took forever to pop through but this time there were no problems. His bottom left tooth broke open through the gums on Friday and by the evening it was all the way out. Then on Sunday May 31st we could see his bottom left incisor started popping through on the way to Castle Dale to visit Isaac's mom because she wasn't doing to well and by the time we were driving home that evening it had came through. June was tooth number 3 on the top and July was tooth number 4. He seems to have a harder time on the top but one a month was a lot faster then his other four. Now he is so happy to have all of his front teeth in because he can eat more food.
