Brayden Adamson Maughan

Kayden is not the "baby" anymore. He was beat by Brayden tonight. We were excited to be at the hospital to welcome little Brayden. Now Kayd has a new little buddy. They are 8 months apart and will be great friends. I know that the other kids are very excited for their new cousin as well. It is fun because Skyler, Kayden and Brayden are going to be like Alexis, Domenic and Kaycee. They are all so cute together.

Pretty/Handsome in Purple

I know I am bias but I think my kids are so dang adorable. Kayden got his little suit for Christmas. Kaycee got this dress awhile ago from Nana but she is finally growing into it and it matches. Because we didn't get a chance to wear them for Christmas we dressed up today. Mom, dad, Kaycee and Kayden all in purple. Yes, you heard it right, Isaac wore purple. He was shocked when he opened it but he actually likes it a lot now that he has worn it. Kayden just looks adorable in purple!

Barber Shop

Kayden's most favorite time of the day is the mornings. He can't wait to get out of bed and go play in the living room with his big sister. He is always so excited as soon as we walk out the bedroom door. He gasps with delight and jumps up and down and dances all the way to the living room. Then there is a bit of a damper when he realizes sister isn't awake waiting for him. Not a problem because he is ready to play.

His morning is complete when Kaycee comes into the living room and he is let down to play with her on the floor. He is up for anything. Today it was barber shop. The other day we had dress up with Princesses, doctor, and monkey another time.

They also played with the puppets and he couldn't' stop giggling.

They are so cute together. Kaycee is such a wonderful big sister and Kayden is a delightful little brother.

Pretty Princesses

Well, prince and princess.

Today Kaycee decided that brother wanted to dress up to. He loves playing with Kaycee so he didn't care. The first time she put it on him he was disgusted and ripped it off because she said that he was a princess. Coincidence or not, the timing was perfect and hilarious. I missed that one on film. After she said that he was the prince and she was the fairy princess and then he was all up for the purple crown.

We had another late night-all nighter-and early morning again. I don't know if it is teething or what but we ended up sleeping in the front room again. Thus all of the blankets and pillows!!!

Happy 2009!

Kayden had so much fun with everyone for New Years. He is such a doll. He just sat and played and had a blast. He is such a delight!

Both Kayden and Kaycee were tuckered out after the party they fell asleep on the car ride home.
