What a Blessing
Kayden is such a little gem. Last night Kaycee's fever spiked again to about 103-104. It was pretty scary. It was the highest it has ever been. We called the emergency room and they had us double dose her on Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours and watch her ALL night. Thank goodness Kayden was a sweetheart. He would sleep 4-5 hours, eat and go back to sleep. Even when Kaycee woke him up with her loud cries. This morning he just laid next to me while I slept for a couple of hours. What a doll and a blessing. We got an appointment for her today with her PCP. I hope they have the test results. I don't want to have to worry all weekend. Even when she had her seizure and I was trying to take care of her Kayden slept the whole time. He knows; both, Kayden and the Lord. If he would have woken up I would have been more frantic and worried trying to care for both of them on my own and knowing that he would just have to cry until I got Kaycee better. Kayden is such a sweet baby. I now know why people have more kids. If they were all like Kayden I would have a million more, well, if the pregnancies were better.

Lentil Festival Parade
While Isaac was away at the hospital the kids and I went with the Johnson's to the parade. We have never been so I figured it was a nice day to get out of the house. It was beautiful weather and we were up by 7AM so why not!!
Kayden was so pleasant. He just hung out in his carseat on the stroller blowing bubbles and smiling. He squeeled with delight when I got him out and let him watch the parade. He mostly watched the kids reaction to the parade and kicked his feet smiling when they would jump around.
Isaac was suppose to be home by 4pm but they had several emergencies come in so he got home about 10 minutes before 7pm. The kids and I had a great day though!

Blessing

Kayden was blessed on Sunday the 10th of August in Castle Dale, Utah. It was so nice to be able to be surrounded by all of our loved ones. We gathered at Isaac's parents home for a nice lunch and mingle.
My mom found him an adorable little tux for him to wear. The funny thing is that when we were down in July my mom purchased the tuxedo for him. We tried it on him before we left the morning of the 16th. It fit a little big but nicely. When we got back and put it on him on the 10th it was too perfect. He had grown so much. Megan let me borrow some little white shoes that Wyatt wore and they fit him perfectly before we went to Utah but by the following week he had out grown them. He sat so patiently as we pried his little feet into the littler shoes. He was a handsome little stud. We went and got his pictures latter that week and the shoes were even more harder to get on. I can't believe how fast he is growing.
My mom starter the afghan before Kayden was born and worked on it for the whole time I was in the hospital waiting for Kayden to be born. She crocheted and we talked ALL night. Neither of us got any sleep. Isaac was fast asleep on the pull out bed. It was perfect, and even brought out the blue in his eyes.
